DuraTuff® – Libbey’s DuraTuff® treatment is a superstrengthening thermal after-process for “pressed” tumblers and stemware.

TheDuraTuff® process is only performed on the upper third of the glass, whichincreases its resistance to thermal and mechanical shock. By treating thisupper portion at a lower temperature than tempering, you put less stress on theglass. This has a positive effect on how the glass breaks and also improves itsoverall durability.
