Located in Castle Hill, 25 km northwest of Sydney, Pine Tea & Coffee is a specialty loose leaf tea merchant and boutique coffee roaster founded in 1996 by siblings Clayton and Lesley Pine. With a combined 78 years of experience, they have built an award-winning family business known for high-quality teas and coffees.

Clayton Pine started his journey in 1974 as an international tea buyer and master tea taster for Bushell’s Tea & Coffee, gaining expertise with brands such as Billy, Robur, Amgoorie, Andronicus, Belaroma, Lan Choo, King, and Nestle.

Lesley Pine transitioned from a successful decade-long career in fashion retail and wholesale buying in Adelaide to co-found the business in 1996, bringing her valuable management skills to the team.

Together, they have developed strong relationships with agents, traders, and estates, prioritizing sustainable and ethical practices. Our Silvertip® tea range includes a variety of black, green, white, herbal and specialty teas, while our Pine Coffee® and Bella Italia® blends are roasted in small batches for gourmet quality. Both have received numerous awards in their respective fields.
